Therapy at Clearview Women's CenterA successful recovery from any disorder requires a comprehensive treatment. In addition to Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), our expert treatment team may also incorporate the following into your individualized treatment plan:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is used to help you change your negative thoughts and beliefs, and consequently change the way you feel. CBT is a form of brief psychotherapy that has been found to be effective with mood, anxiety, personality, and substance abuse disorders. The primary goal of CBT is to help you find relief from your symptoms.

Art Therapy

Art therapy makes use of such activities as painting, drawing, and crafting to help you develop individual awareness and expression. Art therapy can help you gain insight into your mood fluctuations, foster safe emotional expression, and increase your self-awareness.

Anger Management

Recognizing the physiological and biological states that precede anger is the focus of the classes. You will learn specific strategies to help you recognize your triggers and prevent you from acting in self-destructive ways.

Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy can help you develop a healthier relationship with your body and work on emotional issues such as anxiety and depression. Some of the techniques you will practice include physical poses, breath work, visualization, and goal setting.
